Clinic Manager
As Clinic Manager, I am responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing Behavioural Support and therapy services offered at one of RTS's local clinics. Amongst other duties, this includes activities related to team engagement and management, direct and indirect client support, recruitment, reporting and broader service planning. In addition to full-time work at MindSpot, I also managed a small case load of GP-referred clients in a private practice setting. As in my previous private practice work, I was responsible for completing assessment (including risk assessment and management, and reports for external settings as relevant) and treatment of clients, as well as correspondence with GPs and other health providers. I provided treatment using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical behavioural Therapy (DBT) methods. I provided service mostly through Medicare Better Access referral, with a small caseload from forensic settings.

As a MindSpot/PORTS Clinic Manager I am responsible for overseeing the clinical activity of a new virtual mental health service. In collaboration with other senior staff, I work to create treatments, develop policy/procedure, review outcomes, liaise with stakeholders and assist the clinical team. I have been a member of this voluntary group since January 2013, Crosslands Rotaract focuses on coordinating and attending events that support local and overseas causes. As a member in 2013, I was a joint planner and facilitator for the "Punch for Polio" self-defence and fundraiser day.In my role as president in Rotary year July 2013- June 2014, I worked with the board to oversee developments within the club, coordinate project development and manage administrative requirements. Among other outcomes, Crosslands Rotaract raised thousands of dollars towards building a school in Timor Leste, assisted with running an event for the Rotary International PreConvention 2014, and received national awards, including the Rotary International Presidential Citation and best submission award at the Australian Rotaract Conference 2013. As an Immediate Past President, my role was to assist the new President and board with managing their new roles. I continued to contribute to the club as a member, assisting in the planning and running of our projects.

My role as President involved overseeing the board and members of the Rotaract Club of Southport (RCOS) volunteer organisation. In amongst other tasks, I facilitate key decisions on club direction and initiatives, manage problems and manage the progress of our initiatives. I unfortunately had to terminate my presidency early due to moving and work commitments. I ensured that I provided time and assistance to ensure completed transition to my successor. After leaving RCOS and moving, I joined as a member of the Rotaract Club of Crosslands in 2013.
