In this role, I have to act as a leader and role-model for first year students; helping guide them through their first year of University by creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive homely environment. This includes having to deal with sensitive situations, and having to refer to other University services when required. This role also involves the planning, management, and facilitating events. This includes social events, sustainability initiatives, orientation week events, cultural/diversity events, and more.

Involved working in a fast-paced retail environment where we provided personalised customer service and assistance to customers in Tommy Hilfiger Commercial Bay during the busy Christmas period. This included becoming familiar with Tommy Hilfiger's POS software (Magenta Retail).In this role I also helped out with organising stock in the back-room and becoming familiar with the store's stock. This included having to process stock coming into the store, and appropriately sorting it in our back-room to ensure that every garment and accessory was organised and placed in the appropriate place.

My role at H&M Commercial Bay involved me having to work in a fast and flexible retail environment in a large store. This included having to become familiar and adaptable to the stores various departments and stations, and having to be able to switch between them when required. Furthermore, this role involved having to work with a large team, which required me to be able to work well with a variety of people from different backgrounds and ideals.
