Nick is a leading sustainability professional who has been passionately active in the sustainable product and services sector for over 25 years. Having built one of Australia’s first polymer recycling facilities in 2004, Nick is an expert in the manufacture of recycled polymers and GFRP [Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer] composite products and structures. He was responsible for the design and construction of Australia’s first bridge structure made entirely of recycled materials and is regarded as an Australian pioneer in using recycled polymers for the manufacture of sustainable products. Nick has been promoting recycling well before most others and was awarded the 2008 ‘Best Green Product’ by Infrastructure Australia.As founder and Managing Director at Sustainable Infrastructure Systems [SIS], Nick leads a team of highly skilled professionals including designers, engineers and product development personnel whom all come together to manufacture world class sustainable materials including the Dutch bridge and panel technology - InfraCore.
