Role description:1. Plan/Scope/Develop a long-term project for the business to move away from using one over complexed SSAS multidimensional cube and excel reports, to multiple business architect based SSAS tabular models and PowerBI reports2. Consulting with all levels of business stakeholders to empower the business in making data- driven decisions3. Design/Provide integration solutions using SSIS for internal & external systems(via API or SFTP) to fulfil the requirement of a centralised data warehouse and reporting requirements4. Creating a data catalogue/dictionary solution for the business to have a knowledge base of business terms to be able to better utilize data cubes and self-service tools5. Continuously improving existing data warehouse/ETL solutions by doing bug-fixes, implementing quality control and other solutions, to make sure the business will always have their reports on time and error-free6. Take on the responsibility of pager rotations to make sure the nightly data load runs smoothly, and daily/weekly reports time meet SLA7. Completely rewrite some of the business core excel/SSRS reports to make sure they run bug-free with data accuracyAchievements:1. Worked closely with the Finance team to design/create the first SSAS tabular model in the business for Sales & Margin areas and related PowerBI reports2.
