Directly support the installation, operation and maintenance of the technology used in teaching and learning at the University for staff and students as part of a professional and effective support service within agreed service levels. ● Provide technical support to TEL/AV Support Team customers (covering technology such as PCs, AV equipment, voting systems, video-conferencing, live streaming and lecture capture) ● Work with others in the TEL/AV team to ensure that operational processes and facilities relating to the support of TEL/AV equipment are documented and maintained ● Investigate and resolve requests, incidents and problems relating to TEL/AV equipment, in accordance with agreed SLA targets ● Take ownership of incidents and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the customer and communicate progress in a timely manner ● Install and set up IT equipment in accordance with standard configuration and design ● Train colleagues and customers to use the AV equipment ● Assess the status of AV equipment and propose required upgrades to ensure that SLA targets can continue to be met ● Be the point of contact for one or more specialist systems (e.g. video-conferencing), deal with incidents and problems relating to the system(s), provide expert advice to colleagues and train other members of the team in the operation of the system ● Help develop installation and maintenance procedures and standards ● Monitor and report on the service delivery including monthly reports to the Customer Support Manager ● Engage with staff in similar positions in other HE institutions to share good practice ● Keep up to date with current industry good practice and trends in IT service provision ● Installation of new Crestron systems in teaching rooms ● Providing a video production service to the University

Responsible for all the coordination and production of events held in Newbury onsite event locations. ● Meeting with internal or external production personnel to plan and review event deliverables. ● Engaging third party support to ensure all event requirements are met. ● Liaising with clients to produce professional presentations for major company events. ● Working closely with the Production Team to provide support for webcasts. ● Hiring equipment and staging for larger corporate events. ● Organising external contractors. ● Own and actively maintain the Event Production space and hardware ●.Fix/maintain/replace/upgrade hardware. ● Support the AV team in BAU service delivery including room checks and VC support in a Tandberg/Cisco environment.

As well as running the events that took place at Downe House, I was also responsible for the preparation that takes place beforehand.
