As Research Project Coordinator at Regions Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center, I actively manage and contribute to all investigator-initiated research projects for the Departments of Surgery, Trauma, and Burn to ensure we meet the research requirements to maintain both our Adult and Pediatric Level I verification status. As the sole full-time researcher for the Departments, I serve as a Project Manager and Research Mentor to a large team of volunteer Researchers from Undergraduates to Resident Physicians. Driven by a commitment to advancing healthcare through evidence-based research, I work collaboratively with investigators to design and execute research projects that result in peer-reviewed publication. My current research interests include trauma, critical care, and prehospital care. In the future I hope to take the knowledge I have gained in this position and apply it to the patient care experience as a Physician.
