🚀 Software Engineer | Designer | Former Hospitality Expert | Tech Enthusiast 💻In 2021, I transitioned from a successful fifteen-year career in the hospitality industry to software engineering, driven by my growing passion for technology. This change was catalyzed by the Covid pandemic and led me to Flatiron School's Software Engineering bootcamp, a decision that has been nothing short of transformative.At Flatiron, I developed a deep expertise in full-stack web application development, with a focus on JavaScript, React, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and SQL. This journey has now led me to a fulfilling role as a Technical Coach at Flatiron School, where I guide aspiring software engineers towards mastery.Currently, I'm fully dedicated to my role as a Technical Coach, sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for coding with students. My experience combines the best of both worlds - the customer-centric focus from my hospitality days and the technical savvy from my software engineering skills.In addition to coaching, I am also engaged in technical consulting and freelance web design.
