The Data Governance team is responsible for ensuring the evolution of enterprise data supports the goal of trusted data, scalable delivery and shared knowledge. The team operates across various data sets ultimately used by the firm’s investment, client reporting and management reporting teams to make investment decisions, exercise compliance and controls over the investment process, and make informed business decisions. The role within Data Governance is focused on researching, analyzing and advising on data needs across the firm.Detailed responsibilities include:• Participate in and/or execute projects aimed at providing centralized and trusted data to the firm • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the IT division to meet business objectives • Respond to data research requests from all business areas • Develop, analyze, and document data sourcing, validation, and consumption • Perform accurate, timely and relevant analysis on many levels of data • Evaluate and prioritize data changes and enhancements • Establish regular data integrity reports

The primary role of this position lies within consulting between different business teams to complete activities that support the processing and pricing of mutual funds and other complex securities. This includes: dividend and corporate action processing and research, manual security pricing, and providing systems support for client applications. In addition to these duties, I also perform quality control on data received from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness; as well as assist with the implementation of new technologies and improvements on a large enterprise level. Detailed responsibilites include:•Entering, reconciling, processing, researching, and disseminating complex corporate action information for client holdings from multiple sources including Bloomberg, IDC, and NASDAQ•Work with prospective clients and transfer agencies to ensure seamless fund accounting system integration and setups, as well as help configure new custom client requested system capabilities and features •Quality Control complex foreign security/mutual fund pricing and information via MS Access and Excel•Disseminate Net Asset Value data and other reports to respective reporting agencies such as NASDAQ, Morningstar, and Reuters

At Direct Supply, I was a member of the Corporate Development and Innovation Group. This group was formed as a solution to address the complexity and enterprise misalignment that was brought on by the company's high rate of growth and diversification. The primary vision of this group was to support innovation and the development of growth initiatives that promote the company strategic components while driving significant revenue growth. Some of my duties in this position were:• Consulting between various internal business units and deriving strategic insights from internal and external data to drive alignment and growth between them • Collecting, organizing, and presenting analytical data to various members of the Executive Working Group • Supporting Strategic Sourcing Teams by equipping them with information derived from data analysis • Led a project which involved a cross-functional team of interns to develop new strategies that could generate $10MM in incremental revenue for a private label product by analyzing new go-to-market strategies and alternative methods of distribution• Company-wide Innovation Campaign Administrator of hundreds of users on an internal cloud-based idea management platform called LaunchPad; which drove innovation and new business proposals for new products, services, and cost-savings
