Worked with customers for applying various steel grades from hot roll to advanced high strength GEN3 steels for their part applications. Internally worked with research engineers on specific steel material property issues requiring modifications to chemistry, heat processing, and material corrosion protection. Attended part forming trials with improved materials after both internal lab testing and part formability analyses of the applicable steel grades were performed. Worked with our mills, operations team, and sales and marketing teams to provide trial materials and eventual purchase orders.

Aug 2003 - Mar 2016- Engineered full frame engine mount and body mount brackets for the new 2019 Ram truck- Design-released frame front tire blocker structure on carryover 2017 Ram truck to achieve satisfactory results for new narrow-offset front impact IIHS test.- Released NVH improved cab mounts for the 2017 HD Ram 2500/3500 series trucks.- Powertrain mounts/differential mounts team lead engineer for 2014 Cherokee and 2015 Chrysler 200 platforms, leading 3 engineers.- Engine mount/body mount release engineer for the 2010 Wrangler, where additional annual cost savings of $500K were realized from body mount resourcing to a low-cost country (LCC) company.- Frames/mounts/skid plates/hitch/tow hooks/winch Team Leader for 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Supervised a team of four engineers in the design and development of these components, including a 3.6L gas and 2.8L turbo-diesel engine. 1st Wrangler to achieve NHTSA 5-star rating for NCAP frontal impact. Innovative fore-aft "sliding" powertrain mount system allowed powertrain to move forward from passenger compartment to improve driver injury criteria ratings.I was previously a Design-Release Engineer, also in Chassis Engineering, where my major accomplishment was re-designing replacement parts for carryover programs for Ram and Dakota truck programs which resulted in a cumulative cost savings over $10M. Additionally, I was a Senior Engineer in the Chrysler NVH lab, where I led a team of four engineers in noise and vibration testing of the Jeep vehicle line, including the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. This position provided me with team leadership skills as well as understanding cause and effect interactions within the complete vehicle subsystems, including body, chassis, powertrain, fuel and exhaust. Earlier in my career, I was able to gain great experience as an NVH test engineer at Ford Motor Company, where I learned skills in modal analysis, sound intensity, and digital signal processing,
