Senior at the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering on the manufacturing track.Experiences in Manufacturing:• The Medical Modeling, Materials and Manufacturing (M4) Lab introduced me to manufacturing. The M4 Lab manufactures anatomic models through 3-D printing to find innovative engineering solutions for real-world needs in clinical medicine. As a quality technician, I manage the process of production, create work instructions, and perform statistical analysis through metrology to better understand the models. • As a Manufacturing Engineering Business Analyst intern at Stryker's Sage site in Cary, IL, I worked extensively with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Gained valuable experience in system optimization, User Requirements development, and cross-functional collaboration. Enhanced skills in spreadsheet validation, Request for Proposal (RFP) creation, and GxP compliance. Also conducted User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managed continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.• Flex is where I learned what it takes to be a Quality Engineer at a high-level corporate manufacturer. I learned more about the medical device industry as well as the importance of quality engineering within the industry. I took part in NCMR and CAPA meetings, conducted historic reviews of the medical device factory I was assigned to and identified areas of the production line that needed to be improved and found potential solutions to increase production.
