High Point Furniture Market

Worked with Century Furniture’s interior designer and creative director to develop an aesthetic and floor plan for the Century Furniture showroom for the 2016 High Point Furniture Market. Assisted in designing and managing floor plans for a 60,000+ square foot showroom space. Managed the floor plans and co lead the installation of a designer wing of the showroom space. Worked along side the installation team to place furniture pieces. Assisted the interior design team during the final instal process with placing accessories. Updated floor plans based on floor model sell offs during furniture market.

San Francisco Bay Area

Worked with PBteen’s visual merchandising team to design floor sets that got implemented into all PBteen stores nationally. Helped assemble the visual book that provided direction to the stores on how to set their store to match the national corporate standards. Assisted the graphic design team to design signage to help inform customers about products. Worked with other PBteen interns to come up with a conceptual teen and tween gifting/holiday assortment for the upcoming seasonal collection.

Monterey, Ca

Worked with the visual team to implement floor set updates. Merchandised a wide range of displays from bed and bath displays, to table top arrangements, holiday set ups, and a variety of window displays. Used visual merchandising skills to come up with product substitutions if specified products were not available. Functioned as a store associate during business hours to assist customers with product selection and worked to provide a high level of customer service.

Worked with the Pottery Barn product development team to gather inspiration images and designs for the summer collection. Assembled boards that were presented to the buying team to communicate product developments vision for the upcoming season. Worked in a large cross functional team of interns to put together a theoretical product assortment that was presented to hiring managers as well as top level executives. Observed and worked with other departments to learn about all aspects of retail and build my knowledge base.
