Morning Show Host for FM 92 South Simcoe out of Alliston, Ontario. Hosting the show from 6am through 11am, spend your first five hours with me each and everyday to get the best wake up, news, weather, road updates and a few laughs at my own expense.Former Radio Host and Reporter for Vista Radio Ltd. in Kapuskasing as well as with 91.5 CKPR and Rock94 as part of TBT News and DougallMedia in Thunder Bay. My roles for MooseFM in Kapuskasing included being an Afternoon Host 2-5pm as well as the news reporter for the area producing a minimum of 3-4 local stories daily for newscasts that I as well as other hosts would read on-air. I also hosted a Saturday show for our Timmins station for two full years while voicing a multitude of commercials for Vista Radio Ltd. through VCreative, giving me an ample amount of practice using my voice to record advertisements for an array of different companies and organizations from either Ontario or B.C.I spent a year following in Thunder Bay learning with a large news team how to best assess the news value and top stories of each day. Working as part of a two-man or sometimes solo radio reporting staff alongside a handful of 5-7 tv reporters and 2-3 online reporters I learned the value of teamwork and communication as well as planning in order to accomplish the best overall coverage of each and every story. It was a great experience to report for 91.5 CKPR and Rock 94.3 and to cover stories by being on scene for interviews and conducting them for/with TV and online in front of the camera, handling one on one scenarios all the way through scrum interviews at major conferences and events throughout the year. Another great Northern Ontario experience.
