With over 7 years of experience in the education sector, I have gained valuable skills as both a teacher and as a customer success manager at MyVRSpot. Teaching all stakeholders is my passion, along with improving workplace systems to be more efficient.Keeping my pedagogical skills sharp is a top priority for me. That is why I successfully completed a master's degree in instructional design and technology after my bachelor's degree in education. I am passionate about providing excellent educational experiences to all, whether that be with secondary students, employees, or customers. In addition to being an educator, I also evaluate pain-points in the workplace and try to alleviate them. For instance, I independently identified a need for a better system to onboard new employees at my current position. In response to this need, I developed an entire self-paced course with several learning modules as a frontline training solution. I also saw a need for a designated employee trainer that mentors and provides on-going training. This is now one of my primary roles at my current company. The final pillar of my professional skills would be my customer service. In my current position, providing excellent customer service is the top priority. Whether that means following-up with phone calls to guarantee customer satisfaction, sending emails or handwritten correspondence, assisting customers in handling difficult situations, or showing an interest in the customer’s personal lives outside our product, I always go above and beyond to guarantee that all customer’s feel welcome and valued.
