In 2021-22, I taught that newcomer science curriculum for 3 periods while balancing a new sixth grade general education curriculum, Amplify Science.Duties include: subject-based team planning including differentiation for exceptional students and ELLs; Google Classroom and Clever integration as part of RPS 6th Grade Chromebook pilot program; Teach Like a Champion 2.0 strategies; ELLevation Education integration; data analysis and student ownership of data; coordinating with external groups to coordinate field trip and enrichment opportunities through the 2019 NOAA BWET grant with James River Park System and James River Association; part of the ETMS communication team; daily lunch duty; utilization of Remind for increased parent engagement; mentoring through EdConnective and monthly "Zero Experience Teacher" PD opportunities.
