The SYDNEY UNIVERSITY Manning Grill and bar is a very well known social hub for students, friends, lecturers, UNI staff and the public to enjoy a value for money meal and drink.The Manning Grill is a very busy terrace kitchen, especially during the semester and when the weather is bright and sunny. Customers get to sip on drinks and eat outside on the terrace whilst listening to music or watching some stand-up comedy or theatre sports.

I joined the Westpac Catering Group when they launched their internal catering service during the final construction stage of the new site at Kent street, Sydney.The job initially was working in a team of 8, which grew to about 35 kitchen staff, when the main kitchen was opened on the executive floor.

The environment was based in the corporate dining levels, where the kitchen supplied a wide variety of cuisines, styles and settings for the clients and employees.The kitchen crew provided some fantastic produce alongside great service with great dining facilities and views looking out to the Harbour.
