The software I helped develop has flown on Atlas and Delta launch vehicles since 2016, and will fly on Commercial Crew Atlas, SLS/iCPS, and Vulcan launch vehicles in the future.Helps to define software workflows and adopt the latest and most effective software processes and tools. Creates software requirements by working with engineers across all disciplines and understanding the entire system. Makes sure that analysts and designers across the company take software's capabilities and limitations into account, to ensure a completely integrated system.Develops and tests flight code at unit, integration, and formal qualification levels in numerous simulation environments, ranging from desktop simulations to hardware-in-the-loop test environments.Supports mission integration work, including mission-unique testing, pre-launch testing at the launch sites, and launch day operations from vehicle power on, to countdown, through to the end of the mission.
