Library Technology Consultant
Current- Assist with and provide instruction on library computers, electronic resources, and AV equipmentPerform complex tasks involving computer systems, sensitive data management, and financial transactions-Deliver individual and group technology instruction, including preparing and conducting tech classes- Manage computer inventory, including peripherals and suppliesConfigure and operate AV equipment for meetings and public events- Assist with Windows and Chrome operating systems, and Microsoft Office Suite- Handle iOS and Android mobile operating systems, including cloud computing services- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users- Adapt to new technologies and library procedures quickly- Maintain a customer service focus while handling multiple technical tasks- Develop skills in user experience (UX) design through public-facing tech support
