The LROC SOC is responsible for receiving, processing, and redistributing all of the imagery aquired via the WAC and NAC cameras on NASA's LRO spacecraft. I started at LROC to assist scientists install and maintain software. I gradually took on more administration responsibilities and took over management of the systems administration staff in 2010, and in 2012, the entire IT department. In September 2016, I took over the role of the Science Operations Center Manager where I am responsible for managing both scientific and technical personnel, budgets, and any other task or project related to the facility. I continue to hone my technical skills while utilizing my project management and supervisory expertise in this role.
