Primary role was to build an international marketing program to assist growth of local ICT companies by taking them into global export markets. Entered into teaming agreements with 30+ SME vendors, personally delivered audited total contract value sales of close to $100 million,

Undertook a broad range of consulting assignments across the industry, including negotiation for the first local sales for LG, McData Corp and RSA Data Security including introduction of Public Key to Defence Signals Directorate. Published "Technology Transactions" - a report on Commonwealth government ICT expenditures, for 100+ major vendors. Contracted to the NSW government to enhance their knowledge of the IT marketplace; identifying and assessing SME grant applicants, a major market study to recommend future funding and services provision for regional telecentres, IT infrastructure analysis and an attitude survey for DETYA to develop infrastructure for the ICT and multimedia industry in NSW. Provided ongoing direct marketing and marcom services to ICT clients - including SMC, PKware, McAfee, RSA Data Security and Public Key Partners.

Established the company to offer mainframe computer sales, purchasing, lease/rental and maintenance underwriting services to the IBM mainframe market in Australia and New Zealand. Later established a joint venture with a UK public listed company.

Immediately prior to coming to Australia, was one of two general managers at Citicorp Leasing International - responsible for the pan-European development and ongoing maintenance of the bank's own operating lease program for IBM mainframe computer equipment. This was preceded by capital equipment sales roles with Potter Data Products, Sperry Univac - and as memory systems product manager with Computer Investors Group.
