Hello,Thank you for reading my profile. I started my early career in sales working for cosmetic houses and a large Pharmaceutical organisation. I moved into Aviation and it was here that I really understood what Confucius once said, “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”. Aviation has been like that for me fast-paced, commercially agile, delivering outstanding customer service in a challenging environment. I headed up recruitment and training divisions for front-line operational teams, ensuring that the Safety and Service Training division consistently had engaging and thought-provoking training interventions to deliver outstanding hospitality but always ensuring that Safety was our number one priority. It was really important for me that the crew used the same behaviours and values when interacting with guest regardless if it was about a Safety or a service issue ensuring that the delivery was seamless. I have recently returned to the UK, after working for Etihad Airways living in the United Arab Emirates, where I gained greater insight into cultural diversity in business with over 145 different nationalities. Coaching has played a key role in my career managing teams through organisational change, growth and industry downturns necessitating in many career transition conversations. My style is collaborative, combining empathy and emotional intelligence, to not only support but to give sufficient challenge to empower change. I have an open and approachable style, coupled with the ability to build rapport quickly, enabling participants to feel comfortable and supported to achieve their career and coaching goals be it on a 1-1 or group basis. Motivated to help people reach their potential, I understand how our day-to-day interactions impact relationships this being the cornerstone of a successful career.
