"Be human first, business person second"Technology has always been part of my life, but it's the people that matter the most.As a young girl, I was fortunate to be exposed to high-tech. From an early addiction to Donkey Kong through to valuable lessons in coding learnt from my father at the age of 9, I’ve always seen technology through a slightly different lens to most.But it’s my passion for what technology can do for people & business, that has been core to my career.I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I grew up, so I followed in my father’s footsteps and trained in Computer Science which got my first role as an IBM Engineer. Since then, however, it’s been a very different story. Learning from some of the best mentors of my career at KAZ and Microsoft, I found my home in the world of disruption and the fantastically enabling potential of technology innovation. Caught by the buzz, I took the leap into entrepreneurialism, leveraging all the best bits from a career in corporate while facing the unknown of creating a new business proposition from scratch, head on. Pivoting Breeze from a training provider into one of Microsoft’s first hybrid cloud partners, the rest has been a tale of incredible experiences, growth, innovation, exiting businesses and working with some of the most talented people in the industry to create magic. Leading a team of inspirational people that are absolutely united in building truly customer-centred empowering solutions that help businesses to win, has been my biggest honour. Today, I work with boards, founders, execs & stakeholders and help execute, grow & prepare for exit. With a strong focus on buidling recurring revenue for a long term sustainable business and maximum return.
