As Co-Treasurer on the Board, I:Provide day-to-day financial management including monitoring expenses, paying bills, reconciling bank transactions, and processing membership billing.Advise on policies and strategic decisions to keep the organization operating smoothly and sustainably.Welcome new members to our organization by coordinating tours, responding to inquiries, and organizing social activities.

- Oversee work of two staff accountants on day-to-day accounting including: cash flow monitoring, AP/AR and contract processing, expense reporting, account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, payroll, and monthly close.- Direct revenue recognition and expense allocations for 50+ public and private grant awards spanning multiple projects, including creating grant budgets, tracking spending, and preparing financial reports.- Prepare ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations to meet private and federal compliance and reporting requirements. - Manage invoice preparation and policy compliance for multi-million dollar reimburseable grants.- Coordinate quarterly and annual strategy meetings with a focus on multi-year planning, fundraising, and budgeting.- Develop and inform fundraising forecasts and individual and institutional giving strategies to attract and steward donors.- Manage compliance with fiscal policies/processes, including GAAP, SAAS, federal guidelines, and audits.- Led selection, implementation, and optimization of new accounting software (NetSuite) and expense reporting systems (Concur), including integration with and customization of existing CRM (Salesforce).

- Manage grant spend down and expense allocations across 50+ active private, state, and federal grants and four program areas- Prepare internal and external financial reports- Create grant and program budgets in relation to grant proposals

- Author, edit, and compile grant proposals for private, state, and federal applications - ranging from $5,000 to multi-million dollar proposals- Manage and track grant proposal pipeline, incoming grants and payments, and grant deliverables- Author, edit, and compile grant reports for funders spanning 4 organizational program areas and 50+ active grants- Support overal strategic planning and coordination of development department activities- Led the customization and build out of Salesforce as our primary system for all institutional and individual fundraising activities, created process documentation and trained fellow staff members in data management protocols.
