• Assisted in the prospecting, negotiating and closing of Sales contracts with Corporate, National Association, Sports, SMERF, and Tour and Travel clients
• Assigned the Washington DC market and worked National Association Business to generate potential leads for future years (in two months’ time generated leads representing over $1 million of potential room revenue)
• Applied sales skill set and total destination knowledge to uncover and engage large national organizations increasing their interest in the city of Louisville and the Galt House
• Worked with Al J. Schneider Marketing in developing Waterfront Living at the Galt House brand identity for apartment sales, and revised the baseline for the processes used to lease and manage property inventory
• Created, renewed, and maintained apartment accounts representing $135,000 of revenue
• Served as first point of contact internally and externally for new convention and meeting business

• Worked closely with TEAM Kentucky partner communities and their hotel and facility sales managers to understand need dates, and coordinate details for their clients’ site selection needs
• Targeted, recruited and activated new and existing client and partnership accounts; Managed nationwide accounts through coordination with executive-level and marketing personnel
• Developed, managed, and maintained accounts with activation of over $75,000 in sponsorships annually
• Assisted with implementation of hospitality for guests of the Governor at events such as the Kentucky Derby, NASCAR Quaker State 400, 2010 FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games, and 2008 Ryder Cup
• Partnered to create and manage a $250,000 Sports Sponsorship Program, resulting in greater than $8 million in economic influence for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the first two years
• Developed a unique internship program implemented statewide with 28 colleges and universities to generate over 90 applications in the first two years
