I was drafted in the 5th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers out of high school in 1996 and played six seasons in the minor leagues before deciding to go back to college. I earned my degree at the University of Washington and was hired by Moss Adams where I began my career in public accounting. My wife and I decided to move back to the Central Valley (where we both grew up) after we had our first child.I have been in public accounting now for 10 years and have enjoyed the last 7 years here at the W CPA Group. I became a partner in the firm 3 years ago and work with a vast variety of clients on tax and accounting services, IRS audits, Offer in Compromises, and also assist with our firm economics. I am also a member of AICPA and was the chair of Fresno Chapter CalCPA tax Committee. The working environment at the W CPA Group is amazing.
