Raw Materials Strategic Buyer
Current- Manage supplier relationships as part of L&L’s “High Touch” relationship model. Act as the conduit for communication between L&L and its suppliers, driving for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Purchase direct materials and services, samples, prototypes, outside processed parts, components, tooling, and categories of items as assigned, ensuring lowest total cost of acquisition is achieved. Maintain thorough.
- Create regional commodity strategies, support global strategies and goals, participate and lead cross- functional teams as appropriate, provide a comprehensive review of: commodity, supply base, cost drivers, market.
- Create and implement annual cost reduction strategies, including but not limited to: negotiate pricing ensuring the lowest price up-front, source new business per the approved commodity strategy, implement packaging.
- Interface with supplier development for continuous performance improvement in the supply base.
