The total project cost was estimated at $45 million.· Responsibilities included: - Lead engineer in charge of the final design and detailing of the steel pylon of the cable stay bridge. - Developed post processing methodology to produce final design loads from LARSA 4D program to all or select design elements of the bridge structure.Project: US6 Bridges Design-Build ProjectClient: Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)Project Role: Senior Bridge Engineer (2013) The project reconstructs 6th Ave. (US 6) from Knox Court to just east of I-25, replaces five bridges that are either structurally deficient or functionally obsolete and improves the Federal Boulevard/US 6 interchange. The $98 million project is estimated to be complete by the end of July 2016.Responsibilities included: - Design and detailing of the US6 over BNSF Tracks. - Independent design check of the Federal Boulevard bridges over US6 and C-D Ramp.
