In 2024 I commenced working in the newly developed Day Camps Coordinator role at Cru.I have worked closely within a team and have enjoyed taking on the new challenges that this role brought.Key responsibilities and achievements:• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with schools, churches and other Christian organisations.• Strategically plan and facilitate a multitude of day camps which saw several children come to call Jesus their saviour. • Successfully plant a new day camp program within the Central Coast region.• Recruit and equip young people, school staff, church staff and volunteers to share the gospel with primary age children.

In 2023 I have had the joy of interning at Parramatta Baptist Church within the youth and mission space.Key responsibilities and achievements:· Planning and coordinating a youth camp.· Preparing and delivering engaging youth talks to young people.· Preparing and delivering engaging sermons to the church congregations.· Developed a mission focused bible study as a part of the mission’s team.· Journeyed alongside young people through the mentoring program.Skills gained: Leadership, organisation, time management, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

I worked in the Junior school at Trinity Grammar school for 3 years as the youth leader intern, working alongside the Chaplain and the Sports-master. I was a valued member of the staff team for my energy and enthusiasm towards my work.Key Responsibilities and achievements:· Preparing and delivering Christian Studies lessons to children within the junior school.· Supporting children to remain engaged in the lesson.· Created a video daily devotional for parents, staff, and children during lockdown in 2021.· Regularly speak at chapel services.· Work with the chaplain to run the weekly chapel service.· Participate in the weekly lunchtime Cru groups which included leading content, running discussion groups, and mentoring year 10 discussion group leaders.· Work alongside the chaplain to run the family chapel service which includes building relationships with families.· Liaise with other members of staff around the needs of children and families.· Coaching a sports team during the week and on Saturdays which includes providing encouragement and fostering good team culture, engaging in skill development, and developing relationships with family members.· Supported the Sports-master to prepare and deliver physical education lessons, including running them independently, ensure sports equipment is up to standard, engage in skills development with children and ensuring children engage in safe and supportive play.Skills gained: Working in teams, classroom management, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, creativity.
