With the daily focus on meeting the business needs this could be identifying the best routes to market for a difficult to fill role and writing adverts, through to designing assessment methods for selection, through to working closly with the RPO to make sure the roles are filled or just offering training and advice to recruiting managers. Sometimes this just means rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck in with some recruitment. Candidate attraction is a huge part of my role and I am responsible for identifying, developing and making sure we are getting the very best from our routes to market, resulting in a reduction in cost per hire. Management of the Resourcing team responsbile for all areas including contract generation, pre employment screening and creating payroll records for new employees also keeps me busy, along with always striving to improve the experience we offer to the candidates and the managers during this process.
