These products comprised the Ryobi, AEG and Homelite brands and were sold exclusively through Bunnings.Priorities in this role were efficiency, product innovation/development, project management, an innate understanding of your products, striving for measurable results and constant improvement/learning. Reporting to the General Manager Sales & Marketing Flooring, my responsibilities were to monitor costing & quality issues - keeping in close contact with our international suppliers (China, Indonesia, US), maintaining business relations with our local distributors and retailers (inc. Masters Home Improvement), overseeing New Product Development, coordinating all aspects of the marketing mix (through management of external marketing agencies), conducting product training for supply chain partners and working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Import Coordinator to determine landed costs and manage lead-times.I gained invaluable time and people management skills from my experiences at Armstrong and learned to manage multiple conflicting deadlines, whilst working both independently and as a team.
