I have worked to improve the student experience for 16 years, previously at Sheffield Hallam and for 12 years here at LSU. Although my passion for high quality academic representation is what brought me here (I even wrote my dissertation on the topic), I am now also proud to oversee our successful Advice service, Student Communities team, Representation & EDI team and Learning & Development provision in my role as Director of Student Engagement.I have a varied role which involves working strategically with a variety of student and staff colleagues across both the Union and University, helping to make sure that the student experience at Loughborough is a great one, that we help those students who aren’t having such a great experience, and that our student volunteers are supported and recognised. I am always really keen to link up with colleagues from within Loughborough and from other Insitutions/Unions to see how we can work together and share best practice.
