I have over 20 years of experience in engaging with startups and diverse stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives and progress on ESG. I view innovators and entrepreneurs as powerful agents of change within the economy to catalyse transformative shifts.I founded Carbon13 to rework venture building and investment and target urgent and robust solutions to the climate emergency. My passion for driving change includes a history of spearheading pioneering initiatives across various sectors, including innovation prizes, startup support, climate tech investments, corporate venturing, and startup ecosystems. I have been fortunate to collaborate with renowned organizations such as UNEP, the UK government, the World Bank, and numerous corporates.My academic background includes a PhD from the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge (IfM) and a Natural Sciences degree which underpins my interest and evaluation of technology based solutions. I also serve as a Fellow with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and currently hold the position of Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer at Carbon13 where I continue to lead thinking on impact and mitigation potential of startups on greenhouse gases.
