As an Education Consultant and Head of Marketing, Collaboration, and Sustainability, my experience spans across the EMEA region. as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I bring a unique perspective to my work as a Teacher Educator, where I have developed a remarkable track record in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) best practices.During my 16-year tenure as an education management professional for the British Council, I spearheaded the development of EDI strategies and actively sought to embed these practices in the workplace, classrooms, and beyond. My work as an EDI steering committee member in Saudi Arabia initiated a cultural shift on LGBTQIA+ awareness and inclusive treatment.My passion for education and making a positive impact continues to drive my work. I have worked on various projects, including British Council research in gender education in Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Senegal. My dedication to safeguarding and promoting inclusivity is also evident in my role as the designated safeguarding school governor for the H3 Federation in Camden.As Head of Marketing and Sustainability for Lumiere London, I have implemented policies that promote a zero-tolerance approach to bullying and harassment.
