Worked with Dr. Rachel Havrelock & the design team at Fjord (a division of Accenture Interactive) in the early stages of producing a digital storytelling communication that sought to promote and distribute the contents EcoPeace Middle East's "Jordan River Valley Master Plan" for regional investment and environmental protection.

- Worked with Environmental Sciences & Occupational Health division of the School of Public Health in order to improve marketing and recruiting strategies, as well as to redesign and update the division website. -Worked with Dr. Havrelock and UIC's Institute for the Humanities to coordinate a summit regarding the social issues associated with transboundary water management, with a particular emphasis on the Great Lakes. Responsibilities included the following: research on Great Lakes issues, outreach to and communication with academic/community/civic leaders in the water sector, creation and maintenance of digital communications (including the summit website - www.waterafterborders.org - and associated social media accounts), participation in the conference itself and in communications between Middle Eastern mayors and Great Lakes mayors.- Worked with Dr. Steve Jones and the Creative and Collaborative Information Technology (CCIT) center at UIC to compose and conduct a survey regarding social media use among faculty and staff at universities. Also analyzed interview data regarding the changing relationship between IT staff and marketing staff at organizations who have begun to engage in social media initiatives.-Worked with Dr. Steve Jones and a team of research assistants to conduct interviews about people's perceptions of Google Glass as a non-human "participant" in interpersonal exchanges.

Responsibilities included: - Digital strategy consulting in the early phases of our projects- Ongoing research and expertise in user experience design best practices- Analysis of analytics and information pertaining to user behavior in order to recommend usability and organizational improvements to digital communications and products- User research, including surveys and interviews- Creation of information architecture documentation for digital tactics (websites, iPhone applications, etc.). Worked with a team of analysts at various clients to implement the Patient Access components of Epic’s integrated software suite. Guided these clients through design, build, testing, and training of their new workflows, ultimately bringing the organizations live on Epic's software. While working with Kinect, I acquired project management experience across several digital marketing efforts, including the following: websites, banner ads, tablet PC presentations, a CMS-based website (Joomla), and a video game to be played at professional trade-shows. Beyond my project management work, I also assisted the user experience staff in various information architecture tasks, including the creation of site maps and wireframes for smaller website projects. Occasional additional responsibilities included proofreading, copywriting, and competitive analysis.
