Charity: Water at Indiana University represents a student-led initiative focused on raising awareness about the global water crisis and generating funds to support international Charity: Water projects. With nearly 800 million people lacking access to clean drinking water, our mission is to make a difference by contributing to the construction of wells and improving water access, one project at a time.• Co-founded the Indiana University Chapter of Charity: Water as Head of Project Coordination, engaging with a self-recruited team of 9 students to raise awareness about the global water crisis and support international Charity: Water initiatives, positively impacting nearly 800 million people who lack access to clean drinking water• Successfully raised over $6,500, contributing to the construction of 2+ water wells each semester, and benefiting over 200 individuals across 29 developing countries by enhancing clean water access and promoting health awareness• Facilitated weekly meetings with professors, Charity: Water representatives, and sponsors, while coordinating 5+ fundraisers and speaker events per semester, fostering international sustainability, social service, and water education
