My love of design has spanned over 20 years, from being a child who loved to draw to being fortunate enough to spend my career doing what I love. I’m extremely lucky to have had so many great opportunities where I have worked with some amazing brands and being able to be the lead designer for these brands is incredible.Having been awarded a first class honours degree in information design I’ve taken my dedication forward into my career, creating the best experiences for customers in every project I have undertaken. I’m passionate about making people happy and I enjoy see them interacting with what I have designed. I love typography and blending this with colour and photography is fantastic, but I believe that ensuring customers are able to easily navigate an experience is even more important.Throughout my career I have completed many projects and I do genuinely get excited about many different clients and products whether it be a gaming client which has so many rich visuals to work with or a financial brand with a limited brand identity. With each of these challenges, I love to take these forward along with a concise user journey to create the best possible experience. I especially like taking a brand and having a blank canvas on which to explore. I’m also a stickler for detail and I tirelessly ensure that everything has been considered whether it be within the design or development phase.I have worked on many projects which predominantly span the design of UI/UX for digital products e.g. responsive websites, apps, emails, game UI, digital display advertising and social media, however being an all round creative I’m also able to turn my hand to designing stationery, advertising and brochures.When I’m not designing I love the outdoors, especially going for walks with the family, photography, building LEGO models and catching up on the latest films.I am experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud applications; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat as well as UxPin, Sketch and Invision. I’m always happy to work with different applications and I’m quick to learn.
