MCI is the world’s leading provider of strategic engagement and activation solutions and has been a key driver of innovation in the meetings, events, association and congress industries since 1987. As the Senior Project Manager I was responsible for Project Management for conferences and events, and managed large international conferences.A highlight of my time with MCI Group was the Commonwealth Business Forum 2011 in Perth which was part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP) 2012 in Melbourne.Full budget management was undertaken for these events ranging from $2 - $3.5 million each and I was part of marketing plans and event management for events including afternoon tea with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and those involving Prime Ministers from all 54 commonwealth countries.

Returning to Victoria, I was initially seconded to Tourism Victoria as the Tourism Marketing Manager. Once this project finished I was appointed to the role of Event Marketing and Sponsorship Manager, Country Racing Victoria.

In this role I continued to encourage people to visit regional Victoria as the Events & Sponsorship Coordinator for Country Racing Victoria, an organisation that invests in the spirit, the history and the people of Victoria.There are 67 Country Racing clubs all over Victoria. Together they run 450 races and contribute more than $750 million to the Victorian economy each year. Each and every club offers it’s own landscape, history, local attractions and fantastic food. Events range from true bush meetings, to a full blown celebration of a regional city.Key Achievements:- Worked with local small businesses to develop accommodation and activity packages to encourage visitors to stay in the region.
