• Experimented with ultraviolet (UV) light to explore the possible reuse of KN95 masks during COVID-19
• Measured the UV irradiance using radiometers and chemical actinometry in UV devices
• Coded with MATLAB to generate visual models of the measured irradiance
• Used E. coli and MS-2 as bacterial surrogates to test effectiveness of UV light and accuracy of model

• Utilized an ultraviolet LED collimated beam to treat samples from wastewater treatment plants around New Hampshire, and IDEXX Quanti Tray 2000 to analyze the treated samples to generate dose-response curves
• Assisted with the ABET accreditation process for the environmental engineering program

• Project: "Pretreatment optimization for ceramic microfiltration with ozonation and coagulation for the reuse of wastewater effluent."
• Focused on the reuse of secondary wastewater effluent by application of ceramic membrane microfiltration integrated with the pretreatment of ozonation and inline coagulation
• Worked with pilot engineers to operate an ozone bench scale and a secondary effluent wastewater pilot plant
• Evaluated the ceramic membrane performance and final water quality to determine the optimal pretreatment settings

• Collected GPS data points using instruments from Trimble Unity to expand Pennichuck's GIS network
• Inspected Best Management Practices and compiled reports about their conditions to improve stormwater quality
