As a child fascinated by technology, I built my first computer at 8 and started programming in LUA by 10. This early passion for computer science shaped my career path.My journey took an interesting turn as I pursued collegiate football at the Air Force Academy, enriching my knowledge in various sciences and instilling a strong discipline in me. This discipline proved invaluable when I resumed my programming education at Utah Valley University in 2020. There, I excelled academically and in research, leveraging the skills honed during my time in the Air Force.I started my career in tech at a sales job. While at Zen Payments, my initiative in integrating external APIs and automating systems led to my promotion, marking the start of the company's first software engineering department. This experience was pivotal in my career.Now, as the Director of Technology, I lead a dynamic team of engineers and designers, operating in an AGILE framework. My primary focus lies in backend architecture, design, and security, guiding our team to innovate and excel in our projects.I am passionate about creating robust technological solutions and nurturing a team that thrives on challenges and innovation.
