My Job at Beaumont Dearborn is with Food and Nutritional services. I consider this job to be like customer service but rather patient service. My duties are to serve the correct food to the right patient in a polite and timely manner as well as handling any other food related needs they may have. I also prepare patients food on assembly line according to what they order with attention to detail as many patients have allergies or health conditions that make their intake needs very specific.

My Job at the Dearborn Inn was more than one position. As a catering team member I would take part in setting up tables, chairs, linen, and silverware with precision and good etiquette to meet those hosting the events such as weddings, parties or meetings needs and then post event flipping the room for the next day or event. As a server I would welcome in and tend up to 50 guests at a time serving them hors d’oeuvres, salad, entree, and desert with proper etiquette. Occasionally I would bartend dependent on the style of event. I had also been part of the back aisle staff preparing the dishes to go out to guests, helping to cut wedding cakes and making sure the right food is being taken to the correct tables. Many days I would do most of the listed jobs in the same day as they each occurred at a different point in the day.
