After 12 years in academic research, now looking for a career change to the industry.Highly motivated and experienced software engineer with a Ph.D. in Particle Physics and a strong back-ground in programming, problem-solving, and data analysis. Skilled in C++, Python, WinCC OA, and Linuxenvironment, with experience in software development, data acquisition, and SCADA controls for large-scale systems. During my 12 years of experience as a researcher in particle physics associated with the NA62 experiment at CERN, I have acquired an extensive skill set in software development, data analysis and data acquisition systems. I have single-handedly designed and developed two crucial pieces of software for the experiment: - the run control for the monitoring and control of 100+ heterogeneous electronic boards, embedded devices and servers composing the data acquisition system of the experiment - the C++ analysis framework used by more than 50 data analysts to perform world-leading measurements in particle physics.Since 2020, I have also coordinated the development and maintenance of the software ecosystem of the experiment. I am the main architect of code refactoring to improve performances, the development of CI/CD pipelines to automate software testing for reliability and release deployment.I lead the development and construction of a detector for the experiment. I have contributed to over 20 world-leading scientific publications, including two as main author. I have also regularly delivered oral presentation at high-level international conferences.
