3 main missions:1. Engineering: - Implement methods developed at the Inria team Manao (rendering, modeling, interaction) in software available in our community, such as meshlab, modo. - Conception and implementation of a web-based 3D model injection system as part of the Cultural Heritage database ArcheoGrid (http://archeogrid.in2p3.fr/). Web development is done on top of PHP/MySQL, HTLM5, associated with a x3dom-based 3D data pre-visualization system and automatic server-side geometry processing (3D data cleaning, conversion, optimization).2. Research: - Multi-scale analysis/modeling of unstructured point sets (both 2D and 3D data). - Semi-automatic virtual reassembly of strongly deteriorated 3D fragments.3.
