Monitoring et astreintes (piquets).Feature leading: on the two products my team owned, I’ve been leading some of the biggest features we've had - multiple quarters from design to rollout. This implied interfacing with the Product Manager, the Design Manager and other teams (e.g: Analytics team, Machine learning team, Coaching team...), as well as splitting the feature into user stories for the devs to pick up and implement, helping in the design of the associated A/B test, and create a Confluence page to document the feature and aggregate the Jira tickets and the Figma designs, as well as organizing the User Acceptance Tests and rollout plan.Development & maintenance: understanding the purpose of a ticket, its context, implications, reaching out if necessary to other teams (Babel for translations, APIs owning teams) for questions or guidance, coding on the associated project (whether we own the repo or not), adding tests and documentation, creating the pull request, put it for review in Git (and review others), merge it on the main branch, deploy and test it on the test environment and then on production, and if necessary reaching out to the original reporters of the ticket.Monitoring & on-call support: 1 week every 4 or 5 weeks, I was on support. This means checking multiple Slack channels used by different teams and partners, answering any question related to the products we own, create tickets if necessary when a bug is found, and staying available at all time through PagerDuty. In the case of an alert, being able to jump on it, analyze what’s failing through Splunk and Datadog logs and dashboards: if something was broken on our end, fixing it ASAP. If another team was responsible for it, making sure they fixed it, staying on alert until the situation is resolved, and informing stakeholders of the issue's evolution.
