Due to my strong involvement with Northwestern's Global Learning Office, I was invited to serve on Northwestern University’s Study Abroad Committee (USAC). As a USAC subcommittee member, I serve in an advisory capacity for GLO's DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategy, a position typically held by professors—I am currently the only non-faculty member at Northwestern holding a seat on the committee. My responsibilities include providing periodic feedback and consultation on essential DEI goals, contributing to cross-campus outreach and advocacy efforts to enhance buy-in for the strategy, and identifying opportunities for collaboration on key projects and partnership-driven initiatives.

As an extern for Hewlett-Packard (HP Inc.), I analyzed and profiled over 20 tech startups to provide insights for effective investment decisions for HP’s tech enterprises. Additionally, I created six market visualizations and conducted detailed assessments of startup product distinctions, leading to three strategic investment recommendations backed by thorough business model and value chain analyses. Lastly, I led a month-long team initiative focused on comprehensive industry data analysis, delivering high-level insights to refine HP’s venture capital strategy and identify emerging opportunities within the startup ecosystem.

I served as an analyst advising internal business operations and collaborating with the analytics team and management leaders to document and present workforce trends and recommendations for actionable improvements. I gained valuable experience identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies and created compelling business case presentations. These presentations, directed toward underwriting, product, and operational teams, provided data-driven insights and recommendations to better support UHG's workforce, particularly in optimizing new hire work efficiency.
