- Participated to selection of the SoC for the new IP phone generation (Broadcom BCM1101, trip to Vancouver to work with the vendor team). Participated to selection of the embedded graphical stack (NexGen). Defined the protocol to be used between call server and phone, mainly for the graphical interface (NOE). Contributed to all parts of the software including board bring-up and drivers (VxWorks), IP protocols, NOE decoder and application (objects/widgets)- Actively contributed to our Shanghai R&D center build-up with trainings (regular travels)

Added/Modified various protocols including DHCP, TFTP, RTP/RTCP (jitter buffer).

Research department- Build demos of the multi-part terminal concept. We defined that an enterprise user has not only one wired device but also a mobile on which multimedia calls can be handled seamlessly. We even build a meeting room (with automation features likes lights, curtains, etc.) that becomes one part of the terminal once the user enters it. A total of 4 patents were filled.
