More info here soon!In the last 7 years I’ve been working as a Research Engineer; a special mix of Project Owner, Project manager and Tech lead roles for high-tech initiatives in LG Electronics. As a Research Engineer I help to define research projects, prospect, select partners, negotiate contracts, manage and follow up technical project activities until its delivery to HQ or its local deployment. This role provided me with important experience in project portfolio management. I’ve been accountable for a project portfolio (~ 25 projects) worth tens of millions of dollars, leading several project managers and researchers from different suppliers. Before, worked about 8 years as a software developer, system analyst, software engineer, project leader and team leader. Most of the time I developed client-server systems (J2EE) for a Brazilian Bank, with several of them having high-throughput and high-bar performance requirements.Currently my responsibilities involve interacting with coworkers at my work site and oversees, and with partners in universities and research institutes. Good communications skills, decision making, team building and team working abilities are demanded, and I continue exercising and developing those. Project Manager, Product Owner, Team Leader, Technical Leader, Scrum Master and Developer were roles I fulfilled throughout my career. I have experienced the whole life cycle of the software development process from distinct perspectives, was challenged by several technical and management difficulties, and helped people and companies achieve their goals.Won a few awards as an LGE employee in 2017 and 2018.Certified Professional Scrum Project Owner (PSPO I) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I).
