I joined design forces with my husband Matt - we call ourselves Jammy Pop! Because design should always be fun and make you smile :) We're working on projects that spark our interest - from creative urban infill to unique hospitality.

Guest House Raleigh is an intimate boutique inn in downtown Raleigh. My husband Matt and I collaborated to bring it to life - from design, to development, and now as a local business.

Through my blog, www.IntentionallySmall.com, I explore small spaces and simple living. I feature spaces near and far, learning methods for living well in tight quarters while sharing the stories of fellow small-space dwellers. I also use my 300-sqft studio apartment as an example to test and learn. Intentionally Small is about bringing intent to life, living in spaces that are appropriately-sized and designed-well, so that there's more space, time, and energy to fully enjoy life.

While at Clearscapes I worked on a range of projects including small commercial and hospitality renovations, private development projects, civic and institutional work, historic tax credit projects, and multi-family/mixed-use development. Notable projects: Brewery Bhavana, Junction West, Videri Chocolate Factory renovation, and Brewhouse artist live/work units in Pittsburgh.

While at Ellen Cassilly Architect I worked on a range of projects. Residential projects ranged from new construction at only 650 sqft to renovation/additions up to 5,500 sqft. I also worked on a series of office test-fit plans, following through to construction documents of a couple office renovations. Beyond my architectural design and management roles, I also helped with marketing, proposals, consultations, and systems organization. Notable projects: Bullington Warehouse Loft Renovation, Tucker Guesthouse, Todd Bumgarner Residence, Timberly Residence, and Morris Ridge Suite 150.

I joined in situ studio when the firm was only 4 months old. My degrees in Architecture and Management played a crucial role in my professional development while at the studio. I was involved in many aspects of the young, growing firm: design, project management, client and contractor management, consultant coordination, competitions, digital modeling, digital rendering, master planning, architectural photography, marketing, graphic design, and website design and development.Notable projects: Bida Manda Laotian Restaurant and Bar, RA 50: Alleyway Neighborhoods in Raleigh, Franks Wetterberg Residence, Roylance Residence, Garland Residence, monthly newsletter, and website: www.insitustudio.us.

I documented the student experience in Aix en Provence. I posted to the MGIM blog and twitter accounts, as well as built marketing material (photos and videos) for this new program. I was a contact for potential students.
