During my time at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Communication Design, and will graduate in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design. I have been focusing my studies on display, event and experiential design. As an intern at The Lionesque Group, I’m able to study the ‘behind the scenes’ work and the logistics of project management of pop-up and permanent retail shops. It’s exciting to learn what goes into creating these amazing experiences for customers and watch it all come together. It is incredible! Working in the luxury fashion and accessories industry has provided me with a strong background in sales. While working at Kate Spade New York, I have assisted in the design and layout of the store for the floor changes for each season. It has provided me with more experience of what goes on in the industry I’m studying. I absolutely love traveling, and my goal is to discover how to combine travel with experiences for people to enjoy. I want to help develop this industry into much more than it is. Hopefully one day I can create my own design firm to combine experience design and help people get the best out of their vacations.
