Some people were born to teach. It took me 10 years in a corporate, male-dominated industry, to learn that I was best suited for being an entrepreneur. I remember leaving Alltech, my first career opportunity out of college where I was gifted the ability to travel globally, participate in cutting-edge research around gut health, and learn my value. The owner of the company told me he’d support me in anything I chose to do when I left. He always saw the best in me and was a significant influence on my entrepreneurial path.Opening a Salt Cave was not a lifelong dream. It was a business model that supported my local community with health issues that plague the area and allowed me to work in the field of mindfulness which I had practiced regularly for 20 years. I was on the verge of becoming a meditation teacher and the Cave was a great opportunity to further this.From the moment she opened, my spiritual life expanded beyond any foreseeable place. It became the foundation from which I operate and has brought a holistic lens to the business. I became a certified Breathwork facilitator in 2018 and Reiki Master in 2021. Both of these modalities are offered at the Cave and my private practice is available through ndavisbartlett.com. I’ve been practicing these modalities and writing a blog since 2017 and recently transferred this practice to ndavisbartlett.medium.com/The Cave has served over 12,000 clients since its inception in preventative respiratory health and mental ease. My passion for holistic wellness and community healing drives the concept that we all have the ability to self-heal in some capacity. We must consider the mind, body, and spirit whenever discussing whole health. In addition to running a business, I enjoy time with my husband, 3 children, a cat, and a bearded dragon. I live in the garden as much as possible and am intentional about listening to Earth’s whispers. It is essential that we give back to the Earth for what we take.I look forward to the opportunities that life offers when I get to meet an individual at a soul level.
