I will always think of myself as a writer and editor, with a particular passion for travel. One of my stories was published in a Traveler's tales anthology, "Best Women's Travel writing 2007." Lately I've been using these skills to maintain the Sunset magazine website (https://www.sunset.com). I use WordPress to post new content on the Web, whether it originally appeared in print or was written specifically for the site. I write some of the articles, too. I also edit and produce 7-8 emailed newsletters per week. That means editing and sometimes writing intros and subject lines, setting featured article lineups, and scheduling each send.Specialties: I speak four languages conversationally (English, French, Spanish, Mandarin). I've written for books, magazines, newspapers, and web sites. I'm also an experienced copy editor, so I tend to submit pretty clean copy. Particular areas of expertise include travel, music, food, LGBT issues.
