I have spent 24 years in the field of Early Childhood Education as a Lead Teacher within the Montessori Philosophy, 4 of those years have also been spent in Public Education in the ECE field. The last four years have allowed me to transition into a more leadership role within the administration. this has included Special Projects Lead as well as a University Field Supervisor for teaching interns in Early Childhood Education. Along this path, I have also had the task of co-leading my school's national accreditation with the National Association of Early Childhood Education and the American Montessori Society. I thrive in team dynamics and a creative atmosphere. I believe in the power of collaboration while maintaining open ears, eyes, and hearts.I have many experiences in different fields and lifetimes, from the Culinary Arts, Medical Herbalism, gardening, writing, and painting. Life is one big research project to me, ripe for diving deep.Critical thinking and Community Development are at the top of my strategic toolkit, including positive, professional, interpersonal communication and effective forward movement.My skillset also includes knowledge and working experience in calendar management, and organizational platforms such as Google Suite, Zoom, Miro, Quickbooks, and Slack. Last but not least I have made friends with Excel, MS Word, and Powerpoint. The majority of the National Association for the Education of Young Children's accreditation process was delivered on Powerpoint.
